What is SRP?
The Safe Riding Programme (SRP) was launched by the Land Transport Authority (LTA). This programme aims to equip cyclists and users of personal mobility devices (PMDs) on safe riding practices, responsible use of Active Mobility (AM) infrastructure, the Rules, and Norms, Code of Conduct which translated into the Active Mobility Act.
The 90-minute programme content is based on the must-have SRP modules. The whole programme is covered through a simulated circuit combining both theory and practical sessions. The facilitators will guide you through an experiential training circuit where you will learn the necessary skills and path etiquette to stay safe on the various paths. SRP is free to the public until the end of 2019 and is available now to those who ride Bicycles, PMDs and all other forms of micro-mobility.
All the safety gear and devices such as, helmets, PMDs and Bicycles will be provided for use during the session.
