Greendale Secondary School with MINDS Fernvale Gardens School

Interaction between the Greendale students and MINDS Fernvale students, to help nurture a sense of compassion and understanding for each other
Learning cycling skills from the ground up, with basic theory, practical and bicycle maintenance sessions.
Understanding of the basic physiology that affects hand-eye coordination and the skills to ride defensively, anticipating and avoiding hazardous situations.
In addition to the Singapore Cycling Federation Bronze Award Certification, students gained competence to become beginner cycling guides.
With their new skills, the Greendale students became cycling befrienders to the disabled students from MINDS Fernvale and spent a memorable and educational time interacting with them.
